What We Will Do:  We will meet in the parking lot of Schooley's Mountain at 8:45am. Have a quick check-in and a safety briefing. After we get to know one another we will begin our gentle yoga class at the man-made beach and end our session with a 20-minute guided meditation. After we have stretched and centered ourselves we will begin our enchanting 2.4-mile hike along a gorgeous trail that will lead to soothing waterfalls and brooks. Throughout our adventure we will discuss navigation and route finding, take several breaks for meditation and reflection and take some amazing nature photos. We will then make our way back to our picnic area for food, games and sisterhood.

What You will need:

Comfortable(layers), hat, sunscreen, bug spray, water, camera, snacks, hiking boots, socks that cover your ankles and signed waiver.

Where will we meet?  Schooley's Mountain Park Parking lot, Long Valley, NJ. (Approximately 50 minutes away from Newark, NJ) Directions will be emailed to participants upon registration.

 

(This is a moderate hike with some rugged terrain but great for hikers who want a little bit of a challenge. Participants must be in GOOD HEALTH)
